Biggest current offstage interest – When I don’t do anything on a day off I seriously do absolutely nothing, so I’m challenging myself to see how much I can schedule in a single off day!
“Treasuring ‘now’ and putting my heart into it… 🌟”
First Takarazuka show
The 2006 Snow Troupe national tour of The Rose of Versailles: Oscar Edition.
School clubs
In middle school, for one year only I was in the track-and-field club. At my older sister’s athletics festival I watched the track-and-field club’s exhibition and it was so cool I joined up!! When I started taking ballet I quit clubs!
Motivation for taking the TMS entrance exam
I’d been taking musical theatre since I was little, so I was totally focused on the idea that ‘when I grow up I’m going to be on stage!’. From the first moment I saw Takarazuka I felt that, it was my beloved stage, and there wasn’t any place more wonderful! so I tried out.
Memories of your debut
I remember that on the day I was addressing the audience I got to sing “Pure, Proper, Beautiful”. Even now I can feel the brightness of the lights and the warmth from the audience on my skin. It’s such a happy memory.
A role that had a deep impression on you
All of the roles I’ve had until now are precious to me, but in particular, the ‘boy’ from the revue SUPER VOYAGER!. I was so happy to be given the chance to play Nozomi-san’s boyhood self1! I learned how to make my expressions large enough on stage! It’s my treasure!
Senior actresses you admire
Otozuki Kei-san!! I admire everything about her, but especially her singing voice.
Your dream as a performer
No matter what role, I want to take it on with love, and stand on stage as that character. Also, I always want to be honest onstage without forgetting my feelings of gratitude.
Notes:
1 – This is not a typo and is how Nozomi’s child self is presented in the revue.
