‘Que Sera Sera’

First Takarazuka show
The 1996 Snow Troupe performance of Elisabeth. I had never seen Takarazuka so a friend loaned me the recording. It was so impactful that I was completely petrified.

School clubs
I was in the broadcasting club and did announcements. The supervising teacher actually asked me to join, and I heard later that this was because my response of ‘Yes!’ in the entrance ceremony was so good.

Motivation for taking the TMS entrance exam
I loved imagining things and acting them out ever since I was little, so at some point this became a dream of mine. And then the first time I saw Takarazuka I thought ‘This is it!’ and decided to try out.

Memories of your debut
The first time I went down the Grand Stairs, it was so much taller and narrower than I thought that I suddenly got cold feet and it took me a really long time to make it all the way down.

A role that had a deep impression on you
Silvy, from Hotel Svizra House. Everything about it was a new challenge, and I gained so much knowledge and motivation. That role made me so much stronger.

Senior actresses you admire
Mikaze Maira. Her approach to the stage, her passion, her behavior as a musumeyaku: I admire everything about her and she is one of my beloved seniors.

Your dream as a performer
I want to be a performer who gives everyone smiles and can move them, and keeps transforming from day to day.
