Talking to Myself with Photo
The person in this photo is a friend of mine, not a Takarazuka performer, and she’s a very cheerful lady who ends up attending a lot of her friends’ weddings and always does something to get everybody excited. She still isn’t married herself, so she’s only going to other peoples’ (laughs). When she sent me the photo I simply had to laugh. That realistic, 3D Father Eye1 on her head… Apparently they sell those. Things are so amazing these days. Back when we would do party skits, there wasn’t anything good so we’d make things by hand.
Speaking of Father Eye, that’s from GeGeGe no Kitarou. To back up a bit, I think there was some news lately that they’re going to rename the airport in Mizuki Shigeru’s hometown to Yonago Kitaro Airport.
It’s now 2013. Like they say, ‘Good fortune comes to those who laugh’, so I hope that you’ll laugh a little seeing this photo. Apparently it was taken at the Takarazuka Hotel, so it’s possible some of you may have seen her (laughs). She’s actually an extremely earnest person.
…Someone please take her as your bride (laughs).
