Star Troupe: Nanami Hiroki
Sayumi-san (Kurenai) loves Disney Villains, and she said ‘I want to go see Disney Sea’s Halloween show!’, so we went with this group! I wasn’t interested at first, but during the show, Sayumi-san kept explaining the appeal of the villains and eventually I started to understand why they were so cool! Also, when I was riding with everyone else, rides that had been scary before felt fine, so I learned how fun it is to do things as a group. I think that if we’re such good friends off stage that atmosphere will definitely come out onstage, so I want to value times like this in the future too… Ichijo and I are saying “Next time let’s go to FujiQ Highland!” (laughs).
Snow Troupe: Ayanagi Shou
Last year there was the press conference for Rurouni Kenshin in Tokyo. The day before that was Daimon-san’s (Nozomi’s) birthday, so we all celebrated together. After we got back to the hotel we all split up saying “See you tomorrow~”, but after that we gathered secretly and got a cake and stormed into her room!! …well, saying that, during rehearsals we had been asking “Say, are you busy later?”, so there’s a possibility she already knew something was up (laughs). She was really happy, and even though we had to get up early the next day, we were able to spend the next hour or so chatting together, and it’s a wonderful memory for me!
Cosmos Troupe: Makaze Suzuho
This is how we all looked arriving at the bus one after the other while travelling between locations during last year’s national tour1 (laughs). The photograph is actually by Susshii-san (Kotobuki)! I couldn’t really sleep on the bus so I just watched dramas on my smartphone the whole time. I was able to look at the currently popular actors and learn from that, but thanks to this I went over my data cap and at the end of the month I was struggling with the rate throttling (laughs). It was my first national tour in a long time, so though I was also feeling the pressure, we’d look into nearby hot springs and visit them, go out to eat all together even early in the morning, and experience so many of the real pleasures of travelling (laughs), so I had so much fun making the rounds of the country!
Moon Troupe: Umino Mitsuki
This is the cat who just arrived at my classmate Kashiro Aoi-chan’s house, Namur-chan. She2 got there just around when the junior performance of MANON ended. I’ve already dropped in at Kashiro’s place so many times just to play with Namur-chan (laughs). The two of us stared at Namur-chan playing with a toy for aaaaages and it was really healing. She’s such a cute little kitty that all our tiredness is driven away. I have a cat at my family home too, and though she is about twice Namur-chan’s size (laughs), she’s really cute too. I’d love to introduce her here too sometime if I have the chance!
