Snow Troupe Performance Interview: Rose of Versailles – Giroudelle Side Story/MIROIRS (National Tour)

This interview featuring statements from the directors and stars of the 2008 national tour of Rose of Versailles – Giroudelle Side Story/MIROIRS was published in the May 2008 issue of Kageki.

Unlike other cast/director interviews which take the form of roundtable talks, some small theatre shows will instead have the directors and the main stars give separate statements about the show and their roles.

Participants in this feature were: Ueda Shinji (writer/director of Giroudelle Side Story), Nakamura Satoru (director of MIROIRS), Mizu Natsuki, and Shirahane Yuri.

My Seven Days Diary – Tatsuki You (Star Troupe)

This is a diary-styled feature from Kageki accompanied by the star’s personal photos. Tatsuki’s was published in the June 2008 issue.

The dates are unspecified (and sometimes she isn’t talking about things that happened that actual day), but going by the events she described this was recorded during late April/early May, during the break after Le Rouge et le Noir 2008 and the start of Scarlet Pimpernel rehearsals.

Mizu Natsuki Farewell Roundtable

For her retirement issue of GRAPH in September 2010, Mizu Natsuki held a roundtable talk with every single otokoyaku who had performed one of her roles in a junior lead production.

The 5 otokoyaku participating are Saou Kurama, Daigo Seshiru (pre musumeyaku switch), Renjou Makoto, Karyou Shizuru, and Ayakaze Sakina.

GRAPH Otokoyaku Cram School – Moon Troupe (Sena Jun and Ryuu Masaki)

This 2008 GRAPH feature had Top Stars answering questions from up-and-coming young stars. The Moon Troupe edition was published in the January issue and featured Sena Jun and Ryuu Masaki.

ESPECIAL TIME: As you like it – Otozuki Kei and Shirahane Yuri

ESPECIAL TIME was a long-running invitation talk feature in GRAPH, where one sienne is given the opportunity to invite someone else.

Otozuki Kei’s feature, where she invited Shirahane Yuri, was the very first iteration, published in the February 2008 issue. (There were many other invitation talk features in the past, but usually operated on a ‘relay’ system rather than having both parties be new every issue.)
