Backstage Journal – Haruno Sakura (Dark Brown Eyes/VIVA! FESTA! in HAKATA)

Backstage Journal is a short Kageki feature where very young cast members write anecdotes about what’s going on behind the scenes of the productions. They’re not very deep, being full of emojis and more like blog entries than articles, but they are a good way to get to know the newest actresses in each troupe.

This one is by Cosmos Troupe member Haruno Sakura (of the 102nd Class) and was published in the April 2019 issue.

days: Sakuragi Minato (April 2017)

days was a photo feature in GRAPH where performers created a journal or blog-style timeline of photos with captions. Sakuragi’s covers the end of 2016, featuring her performances of L’Aigle Aux Deux Tetes in Yokohama, the Takarazuka Special, and rehearsals for Chateau de la Reine/Viva! Festa!.

THE Otokoyaku: Cosmos Troupe Edition (Asaka Manato and Sakuragi Minato)

THE Otokoyaku was a Kageki feature from 2016 featuring Top Stars talking to younger up-and-coming otokoyaku in their troupes. The Cosmos Troupe interview was published in October and features Asaka Manato and Sakuragi Minato.

This talk seems to have been recorded early in performances for the 2016 Cosmos Troupe production of Elisabeth, so there is considerable discussion of their roles in that show.
