Everyone!! Thankfully, the Hiroshima Carp have won their first championship in 25 years \u2728 I\u2019m so, so, happy I can hardly stand it! Hiroshima rocks! Now nobody can say \u2018Hiroshima are losers!\u2019 any more!!!! I\u2019m so full of excitement, and even though there\u2019s only a little left of Sewatch I\u2019ll do my best!! Now, this month I am turning the Sewatch on the mysterious background of Hiroko, AKA Hoshino Anri, of Snow Troupe \u2744\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About their costume theme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em>\u00a0The two of us struggled over this for a while, this time around. And then Hiroko suggested \u2018how about baseball?\u2019!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Right! I had looked at the TV for a bit and at the top of both Ce-League [Central League] and the Pa-League [Pacific League] were my home teams, the Carp and Softbank! So I was like \u2018we can use this\u2019 \u2728 \u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em>\u00a0Well, I believe that by the time this \u00a0issue comes out, the Carp will have won the championship!1<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> And Softbank! Both teams have so much passion right now!! If the Carp win, it\u2019ll be the first time in 25 years, right!?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> Amazing! You know so much, Hiroko! (laughs) If both teams win, we\u2019ll have a celebration party together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both:<\/em> Let\u2019s do it!!!!!! Definitely!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> How was it to wear the uniform for real?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>Ah~, I was so excited even before I put the uniform on, super excited! Before Seocchi (Seo) arrived I was bouncing around the room by myself! (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> Ahaha (laughs). That must have been so cute \ud83d\udca6 I missed it \ud83d\udca6<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>Just putting this uniform on really stirs the blood, doesn\u2019t it!? Since we\u2019ve been watching them since we were little!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>Yeah! I would see it and now I could wear it \u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> The photoshoot was a lot of fun too. But the way you held your bat, though\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> It\u2019s because I\u2019m usually holding katana or naginata, instead of a bat (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>No matter what you had such a big gap between your hands!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> I just wasn\u2019t used to it (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Their time in TMS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>We just naturally became friends, didn\u2019t we.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>Our seat numbers were close together, and we were often together in class, and most of all, when we went back home we took the same route! (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> Right, right\u2026 \u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> When we would go home for summer vacation or winter break\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> We\u2019d ride the shinkansen together, and I\u2019d get off at Hiroshima and wave goodbye to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> And I\u2019d keep going back to Fukuoka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> And then when we were going back to Takarazuka, Hiroko would get on the shinkansen first from Fukuoka, and let me know what seat you were on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Right! I\u2019d say \u2018I\u2019m in X seat of Y row\u2019. And then when I got to Hiroshima from Hakata, there Seocchi would be on the platform\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seocchi:<\/em> And when we noticed each other\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> \u2018Oh!! There she is! Oh good \u2728 \u2019 it was such an amazing feeling of reassurance! (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> And then we\u2019d sit next to each other all the way back! Since if we were alone it\u2019d be lonely and kind of scary \ud83d\udca6 (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> But, since there are all kinds of rules laid out for lower students, we\u2019d sit in silence the whole time with blank faces (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>We were thinking \u2018But what if someone saw us!!\u2019 even though nobody was watching us at all (laughs). It was painful not to be able to talk to each other, wasn\u2019t it!? (laughs) But having Hiroko next to me made me feel safe \u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>I was happy! Seocchi was there for me (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> I think our strongest memories together as lower students are from the shinkansen, right. And then as upper students, we were together in the drama group for the internal recital!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Right. And for the arts\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> We were doing Japanese Dance together, so even on days off we would get on the Hankyu train together (laughs). We did so much together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Right! Our rooms in the dorm weren\u2019t close together, but we\u2019d hang out all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> We would! In Zun-chan (Sakuragi) and Aasa\u2019s (Asami\u2019s) room, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Right! We\u2019d all get together a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> I was in the room next to theirs, so I got pulled in all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Even though I was the farthest away, I went there the most (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>Zun-chan would cook for everyone, wouldn\u2019t she.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Right, right. Oh! Hey, hey, were you there for the donut tower?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> The what now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>When we were dreaming up a plan to build a tower of donuts! Isn\u2019t that cute? \u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> \u2018Isn\u2019t that cute?\u2019 she says! (laughs) (You were definitely the cutest when you said that \ud83d\udc96 )<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>There was a donut shop nearby, so we were talking about how many donuts each of us could possibly buy in order to get the most donuts, and then we would pile them all up! That kind of thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> You dorks~ (laughs). So you spent your whole time as an upper student doing that kind of thing, right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After joining the company<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> Our debut was such a tough time, wasn\u2019t it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Yeah! But even looking back on it now it\u2019s still really moving! Although it\u2019s not like I\u2019m trying to sing my own praises here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> When I\u2019m feeling a bit down I\u2019ll watch it and think \u2018so awesome!\u2019 (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> We were all rehearsing together all day, and if one of the girls said \u2018I\u2019m so tired~!\u2019 we\u2019d all try to lift them up again, telling each other \u2018Just do your best a little longer!\u2019 \u2018Just this and then we\u2019ll go home!\u2019 so I\u2019ll remember that at the same time and think \u2018Oh, I should do my best!\u2019 too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> It\u2019s because of that that we\u2019re here now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>Yeah! Everyone\u2019s doing so well in their troupes. Seocchi, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> Now, now, you too, of course (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> (laughs). Honestly, when it was decided that you would have the lead in the shinjin kouen of Guys and Dolls, I was so happy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>Thank you~! You\u2019re so nice~ (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> I go to see Star Troupe a lot, but it seems like my classmates have improved every time I see a show, it\u2019s amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> When I go to see a show I also think \u2018I have to get better!\u2019 and it\u2019s really impactful. Recently I went to see Roman Holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>You came to see it~ \u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> It was just wonderful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Really?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>Yes. I went to the dressing room before the show, right? I could hardly believe that it was the people I had been telling \u2018I\u2019m going to see the show~!\u2019 and talking with so excitedly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>Say, say, recently we\u2019d been saying \u2018Next time we\u2019ll go out to eat together!\u2019 right? Hiroko was going to be in Hiroshima for the National Tour, and it was just at the same time that I would be going back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino: <\/em>We were saying we needed to eat together, but it ended up getting too late, so we couldn\u2019t go in the end. So it ended with us saying we\u2019d have to do it another time, right! (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo: <\/em>So we definitely have to go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hoshino:<\/em> Let\u2019s do it, let\u2019s do it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seo:<\/em> And the Softbank and the Carp are doing their best!
