{"id":451,"date":"2016-08-24T23:27:00","date_gmt":"2016-08-25T05:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zukalations.com\/?p=451"},"modified":"2021-01-09T22:53:06","modified_gmt":"2021-01-10T05:53:06","slug":"misaki-rions-retirement-press-conference-it-went-by-in-a-flash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zukalations.com\/index.php\/2016\/08\/24\/misaki-rions-retirement-press-conference-it-went-by-in-a-flash\/","title":{"rendered":"Misaki Rion\u2019s retirement press conference: \u201cIt went by in a flash\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This article about Misaki Rion&#8217;s press conference for her upcoming retirement was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daily.co.jp\/gossip\/2016\/08\/24\/0009420789.shtml\">published by Daily Sports Online on August 24, 2016.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Misaki Rion\u2019s retirement press conference: \u201cIt went by in a flash\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cosmos Troupe top musumeyaku Misaki Rion, who has announced that she will be retiring in April of next year, held a press conference on the 24th, at the Takarazuka Revue headquarters in Takarazuka, Hyogo prefecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Misaki appeared at the interview wearing Takarazuka\u2019s \u2018retirement colors\u2019, a white one-piece dress. \u201cEver since becoming top musume, I\u2019ve always been aware of [upcoming] retirement,\u201d she said; she was the partner of two successive Top Stars, Ouki Kaname and Asaka Manato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She seriously began thinking about retirement on opening night of Asaka\u2019s Grand Theatre introductory performance as Top Star, <em>A Song for Kingdoms<\/em>. \u201cIt was a wonderful script, and I had a very large role, and I could feel our power and passion as a unit,\u201d she declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After discussing the situation with Asaka, she revealed that \u201cEven in rehearsals and such, I\u2019ve been valuing each and every day still more. If you take it since I entered the Takarazuka Music School, it\u2019s been 10 years. It really went by in a flash,\u201d she said, with tears coming to her eyes as she looked back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ouki Kaname\u2019s words, \u201cI want you to be my equal,\u201d had a deep impression on Misaki. Also, she is grateful to Asaka, who \u201cwelcomed me with open arms.\u201d Regarding what she will do after retirement, she said with a smile \u201cI\u2019m not thinking of anything about that yet. I want to carry through my life in Takarazuka first.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her retirement performance will be <em>Chateau de la Reine\/Viva! Festa!<\/em>, which will run at the Takarazuka Grand Theatre from 2\/3\/2017-3\/6\/2017, and at the Tokyo Takarazuka Theatre from 3\/31\/2017-4\/30\/2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This article about Misaki Rion&#8217;s press conference for her upcoming retirement was published by Daily Sports Online on August 24, 2016.
