I was in the going-home club! I didn\u2019t participate in any school club activities – since I was a member of a local track-and-field club, I would always hurry straight back home from school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I first saw A Magician\u2019s Misfortunes<\/em>, I was so struck by how cool Sena Jun-san was that I thought \u2018I want to be an otokoyaku too!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Me and my classmates practiced the kicks for the Rockette dance over and over again. We were pouring tears and sweat as we kicked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The role I was given in the\u00a0Grand Hotel<\/em>\u00a0junior performance, Otto Kringelein. Even though I didn\u2019t know a bit about acting or character creation, Miya Rurika-san, from the main cast, taught me everything from zero. It let me understand the fun and satisfaction of being an actor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sena Jun-san. Sometimes she\u2019s passionate, sometimes she\u2019s cool – she really embodies what it is to be an otokoyaku. I really admire her magnanimity as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
