<\/figure>\n\n\n\nAkatsuki:<\/em> I\u2019ve hardly ever had a chance to be photographed with my classmates, so this was a really new experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana, Rukaze: <\/em>It was so much fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> At the beginning, we hadn\u2019t decided at all what kind of outfits we would wear, but then we happened to run into Miho (Arisa Hitomi) in the rehearsal room, and she said \u2018Why don\u2019t you try using your troupe colors?\u2019 which was a really good suggestion. And then Moeko (Rukaze) went and bought these handkerchiefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> Right, right. I went shopping, and they just happened to have these 3 perfect colors, so I thought \u2018OMG!!\u2019 and bought them on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> I\u2019ll use it all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em>\u00a0Yeah. When we were in the Music School, in the Lower Student year Pii (Amahana) and Ari (Akatsuki) were roommates, right? And I\u2019d go to your room to hang out all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em>\u00a0Right, we were together all the time. And when we were Upper Students, Moeko and Ari had a room together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> Once when we were on break Pii and I went to buy souvenirs and ended up giving them to each other. \u2018Here, I bought this bread so you can have one\u2019, we said (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> Right! But Ari wouldn\u2019t get up in the mornings\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em>\u00a0Yeah, yeah! She wouldn\u2019t get up when she was an Upper Student, either!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> Every day I\u2019d have to say \u2018Ari, wake up~\u2019 over and over about 10 times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> Hmm~ (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> That! You were just like that! \u2018Hmm~? Wha~?\u2019 Like that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> But Moeko was scarier (laughs). She\u2019d be like \u2018Ari, wake up. Ari, wake up,\u2019 while patting my face (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> I had to be Spartan or you\u2019d never wake up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> But once in a while you\u2019d wake up early and bake bread with RunRun. And then you\u2019d always end up dropping it (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> You do drop things a lot (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> Also, at the start, since Ari was the youngest, you\u2019d always use respectful language with us (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze: <\/em>That\u2019s right!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> (mimicking) \u2018Sorry~, if you don\u2019t mind my asking, what should i do with my bag~?\u2019 (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n All three:<\/em> (burst out laughing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> It\u2019s because I was really shy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> Pii and I never shared a room, but we really understand each other when it comes to Ari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> Yeah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana: <\/em>We were all together in the school\u2019s private recital, right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> In The Man from Algiers<\/em>, I played the young Julien, Pii was the grown-up Julien, and Moeko was Jacques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze: <\/em>That\u2019s so nostalgic! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> In the rehearsals, when Julien and Jacque had a fight scene, it ended up being at a time when Moeko and I were actually fighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> You would remember that, wouldn\u2019t you (laughs). Even though it was a rehearsal, it ended up almost being a real fight (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> I hardly ever fight, but there was one time with Moeko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> Also, at the Culture Festival, the three of us and Nanaki Kaoru were dancing wearing tutus (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em>\u00a0Right! When we were Lower Students, we had thought the costumes the class ahead of us had were so cool and were longing for something like that, but then it had to end up being tutus (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana: <\/em>In rehearsals, when we first were dancing wearing the tutus, it felt like everyone was whispering to each other (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> And when we were trying on the tutus it was sort of embarrassing. \u2018Ah\u2026I can\u2019t really get in\u2026\u2019 (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em>\u00a0When we were debuting, for some reason we got together to make the shanshan sticks we were going to use in the rehearsals1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze: <\/em>We all got along really well. When we were rehearsing the rockette dance, you two really helped everyone improve. Pii has always had it all together, and while Ari-chan struggled some\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki: <\/em>Struggled! (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze: <\/em>I mean to say, I know you worked really hard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> Ah, thank you (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze: <\/em>No problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> We go to see each other\u2019s shows all the time, don\u2019t we.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:\u00a0<\/em>Yeah. When Ari-chan had her very first junior lead we went to see it like \u2018I wonder if she\u2019s going to be okay!\u2019 and it was a really parental feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana: <\/em>For sure. We were like \u2018Is she going to be able to change properly and make her entrance\u2026Oh, here she comes, here she comes!\u2019 (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em>\u00a0(laughs) When Pii had the junior lead of\u00a0The Scarlet Pimpernel<\/em>, you looked comfortable even doing the adlibs, so we were like \u2018Well, she\u2019s definitely from Kansai\u2019. Percy was really perfect for you, Pii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> No way~! But when you two came to the dress rehearsal, I ended up crying in the green room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze: <\/em>You did. It was when I said \u2018You don\u2019t have to push yourself so hard.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em>\u00a0It made me feel a lot better. Say, we all ended up performing junior leads paired with our classmates, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> Oh, that\u2019s right. It was really fun to see classmates performing together like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana: <\/em>Miho was totally blushing when we started doing the kiss scene. So much so that I was like \u2018Are you ok? Are you still alive!?\u2019 (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> Was it really like that!? Moeko has always been masculine, but when I go to see her performances now, it feels like her masculinity has increased a lot. But her traits in using her hands and such haven\u2019t changed at all, so I\u2019m like \u2018Ah, yup, that\u2019s Moeko\u2019 (laughs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> (laughs) I often talked to Ari-chan about what to do when I had to address the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> Me too, me too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> Even though you were so worried about me, you still came asking for help (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> Knowing you have a friend you can consult with or share things with like that is really reassuring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em> And since you\u2019re in a different troupe you\u2019re able to give even better advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em>\u00a0When I see my classmates performing in junior performances, it makes me remember the junior performances I saw when I was an Upper Student, and it\u2019s sort of an odd feeling to think that now my classmates are doing that too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em> It\u2019s really moving, isn\u2019t it. It makes me happy to see my classmates doing well, and it makes me think I should work hard too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze:<\/em>\u00a0Yes. Next year, we\u2019ll be graduating from junior performances, and of course we need to take responsibility for our own roles, but recently I\u2019ve also been thinking that I\u2019d like to get to the point where I can look after the junior actresses as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana:<\/em>\u00a0When I first experienced doing a lead role in a junior performance, it really made me feel how important the strength of everyone supporting me is. Therefore, I don\u2019t want to put all my energy into myself, but I want to grow so that I can support the senior actresses and lead on the junior actresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em> In the Music School, we spend 2 years together all the time, so it felt like all of my classmates were like my siblings, but now that we\u2019ve entered the company and I can see them working, it\u2019s really made me feel once again that we\u2019re all working towards the same dream, somehow\u2026it\u2019s made me think \u2018oh, they were all Takarasiennes\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana, Rukaze:<\/em> (laugh)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki: <\/em>When I see my classmates doing something I struggle with it\u2019s really impressive to me, so I keep being so affected by everyone, and it makes me want to work hard so they don\u2019t beat me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rukaze: <\/em>Yeah!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amahana: <\/em>You sound so grown up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Akatsuki:<\/em>\u00a0Yay!<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1 – shanshans are the props used during parades, usually a medallion with a ribbon but fans and jingle sticks are also sometimes used.
